My Myofascial Cupping is only for my regular clients as an ad on to their remedial massage or relaxation session.
Using the myofascial cupping techniques on areas of muscular that have some restriction and tension can be located I can apply cupping by moving the cups in a gliding motion over the surface of the skin or, where fascial adhesion and trigger points are found. The cups may be left on specific areas for short periods of time to reduce or eliminate those adhesions or trigger points.
Stretching the muscles and tissues during the myofascial cupping session helps to return movement to tight or painful areas. Also, by focusing on these areas using trigger point therapy, chronic pain and future issues can be eliminated. Cupping therapy is still very effective even if the cups are not left in place for very long.
Myofascial cupping have many therapeutic benefits which could include:
Q: Is the Myofascial Cupping just for your regurlay clients?
A: Yes as it's an add-on I have within my remedial/ sports massage or relaxation session. The relaxation is a light sliding cupping on the back.
Q: How long do they stay on?
A: Three to ten minutes and then removed. Depending on your session.
Q: Will I get a bruise?
A: Yes you might get some markes that can take several days to disappear, depending on the type of treatment and the length of time the cups remained on the skin. So think before you get cupping if you are going out with a low cut back dress.
Q: Your myofascial cupping techniques, do you use the gliding motion over the surface of the skin.
A: Yes, how I do this will depend on the session.
