Remedial Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy and PNF Stretching is good for pain management. I get referrals from Chiropractors, Physiotherapist and Aged care in the community within in Canberra.
Ray's Pain Management Massage can include but not limited to just Remedial Massage, he uses trigger point release, deep tissue massage, stretch therapy which can encourage blood flow to tight bands of muscle and provide effective relief from pain and tightness by removing tightness in the Myofascial layer. Also some active stretching may also be used to help with your pain. The immediate benefits from your remedial massage therapy will include reduced pain, improved mobility, decreased stress and improved energy levels.
Massage helps relieve a lot of tensions, pain particularly in the neck and shoulder areas, common in those who sit a lot or use a computer at work. Backs are also prone to tightening from prolonged sitting or if you have Scoliosis or Scheuermann’s disease. Remedial massage mixed with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and stretch therapy can help remedy these problems by lengthening the muscles and balancing out the body for improved postural alignment.
1: Remedial massage stimulate the blood supply, make joints more mobile, and help to repair damaged tissues. It helps to balance the length, tone and tension of muscles and tendons, which restores the correct position of the bones, increases blood flow and helps heal injuries.
2: Trigger point is a tight area within muscle tissue that causes pain in other parts of the body. A trigger point in the back, for example, may produce referral pain in the neck. Receiving massage with trigger point therapy on a regular basis can help naturally manage pain and stress from chronic injuries.
3: Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that’s mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue. It may also promote faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.
4: Fascial Release involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the fascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.
5: Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) is a more advanced form of flexibility training, which involves both the stretching and contracting of the muscle group being targeted. PNF stretching is one of the most effective forms of stretching for improving flexibility and increasing range of motion.
Had the best trigger point massage in Canberra with Ray! This was my 2nd time going and I’m so glad I found him. I’m booking in monthly from now. His knowledge of the points that will be sore is amazing. I have really tight back, shoulders and legs and he manages to find them and get rid of them. I have never had someone push some of the triggers that he did and omg is was so sore but afterwards I feel so free. I have tried so many massage therapists in Canberra that day they are trigger point but are no way near up to the standard of what I have experienced with Ray. Jakie 02.02.20
